What is Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) in Hindi?

Amazon Elastic Container Service एक अमेज़न वेब सर्विस है इस पोस्ट में हम इसके बारे में अच्छे से जानेंगे What is Amazon Elastic Container Service in Hindi की Amazon Elastic Container Service किसे कहते है।

What is Amazon Elastic Container Service in Hindi?

Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) is a highly scalable and fast container management service. You can use it to run, stop, and manage containers on a cluster. With Amazon ECS, your containers are defined in a task definition that you use to run an individual task or task within a service. In this context, a service is a configuration that you can use to run and maintain a specified number of tasks simultaneously in a cluster. You can run your tasks and services on a serverless infrastructure that’s managed by AWS Fargate. Alternatively, for more control over your infrastructure, you can run your tasks and services on a cluster of Amazon EC2 instances that you manage.

Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), also known as Amazon EC-2 Container Service, is a managed service that allows users to run Docker-based applications packaged as containers across a cluster of EC2 instances. Running simple containers on a single EC-2 instance is simple but running these applications on a cluster of instances and managing the cluster is being administratively heavy process. With ECS, Fargate launch type, the load, and responsibility of managing the EC2 cluster is transferred over to the AWS and you can focus on application development rather than management of your cluster architecture.

Amazon Elastic Container Service or ECS is a container orchestration service. It allows us to create new containers quickly and manage them across a cluster of EC2 instances.

In order to run ECS on our service, an ECS agent needs to be installed on the EC2 nodes. This agent communicates to the Amazon ECS service for cluster management.

Once we have the agents installed, and they are communicating to the Amazon ECS service, we can manage our clusters easily. We can create, start, and stop containers. We can also check the state of the clusters and the placement of the containers.

Advantages of ECS

  • Enhanced Security
ECS has built-in security; all of the images are stored in a container registry that is only accessible through HTTPS because they are truly encrypted and can only be permitted by identification and management standards.
  • Saves money

We can obtain a high density on an EC2 instance thanks to the ability to schedule several containers on the same node.

  • Extensible
Since the environment won’t matter because it will be contained inside a container, the programmed will function precisely as it did in the past.

Companies using Amazon ECS

  • 3dEYE
The pure cloud video software-as-a-service solution 3dEYE supports practically any internet protocol or network video recorder camera and is hardware independent.
  • Aerobotics
Aerobotics is an agri-tech company operating in 18 countries around the world, in 2018, their data processing infrastructure could not support the data demands needed to increase velocity.

Having adopted Kubernetes, they deployed Fargate for EKS, delivering a completely managed service

  • AutoDesk
AutoDesk has been making software for people who construct and build things in the architecture, construction, engineering, manufacturing, and media industries for the past 35 years.

Conclusion

With Amazon ECS Anywhere, which is intimately integrated with the rest of the AWS platform, you can now run container workloads on your infrastructure in the cloud with security and ease
